Cingular 3G
It's leaked out of Cingular that they plan to start offering UMTS service in 18 markets across the US starting on November 1. No info yet on what devices they are going to launching the service with. It is entirely probable that they will start with a UMTS card first before they release any phones. This is still good news though as phones will be following soon I'm sure and I've got an EDGE device but I am really not getting EDGE speeds on it so I'm sure I'm not getting EDGE service.
We'll see what happens with Cingular and UMTS; those UMTS phones aren't cheap.
